“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.” – Albert Einstein
This quote reminds me that, when it comes to public speaking and the fears we have, that:
We are the cause of our fear. It was something in us that eventually drove us to have this fear.
We need to have a new mindset or paradigm shift in order to get past that fear.

“Pain is temporary; Quitting is forever”
– Lance Armstrong
I think this quote is appropriate to public speaking because it relays the message “your fear is temporary”. If you tell yourself “the fear will only last a little bit” and realize that if you don’t take the opportunities to speak, you are quitting on yourself, and that is forever.
So, the next time you have the opportunity to speak, don’t let the fear make you a quitter. Realize that you can overcome it and be able to speak well.
