Public Speaking Quote – June 27th, 2009

“To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.”
- Bertrand Russell

I like this quote because it reminds me that you are the only person that can overcome your fear. This is especially true when it comes to fear of public speaking. No matter how many programs you try, no matter how many hypnotists you go to, ultimately it’s YOU that has to do the work.

I found this quote as a “retweet” on Twitter (www.twitter.com). Here’s the link to the Mary Wilhite, the person the posted this quote originally: https://twitter.com/MaryWilhite. I also have to thank Perry Belcher for retweeting this for me to find (https://twitter.com/PerryBelcher).

Sidenote: If you don’t know what Twitter is, go check it out. Be warned: It can become highly addictive. :)

Enjoy and speak well!
